Itinerary

This trip takes you to the Wetlands National Park to view the mangrove trees sparkling with fireflies during nightfall and Proboscis Monkeys retiring on the edge of the mangrove trees.

As with the morning Dolphin cruise, you might get a glimpse of the rare Irrawaddy Dolphins, Proboscis Monkeys, Silver Leaf Monkeys, Estuarine crocodiles, Monitor lizards, crabs and even mudskippers.

Evening, depart from the city and ride for about 45 minutes to the Wetlands National Park.

Upon arrival, a short briefing will be given by the park guide. Then, board a local boat for a relaxing cruise through the mangrove forests, where you can see the mangrove trees sparkling with fireflies as night falls.

During the cruise, you may also spot Proboscis monkeys resting at the edge of the trees. As with the morning dolphin cruise, keep an eye out for other wildlife, such as Irrawaddy dolphins, Silver Leaf monkeys, Estuarine crocodiles, Monitor lizards, crabs, and even mudskippers.

After the cruise, return to the jetty and board the vehicle for the ride back to the city.
